In 1986, in Texas, USA, the company Traxxas was formed. Since the next year, sales of the first radio-controlled car models began, and several years later, models of boats on the radio control.
Presenting at least one model or a new modification of early cars, boats or components, Traxxas began to win a large number of people who are starting a new hobby. However, those who are accustomed to buying exclusively sets for assembling and selecting components, began to realize that cars from ready-made sets do not differ in speed and reliability from KITs (they just need to be collected).
Traxxas has a full range of spare parts for repair and tuning (for those who want more performance, hop-ups). Sports highway models of radio-controlled cars, stadium trucks, rally cars, monsters on electric traction or with ICE, with full or rear drive. They are united by the fact that having bought any radio-controlled car or boat on the radio control, they can be simply got out of the box, inserted the battery / refuel, and launched its model, i.e. Virtually all radio-controlled models Traxxas - are supplied as a complete set of RTR (model assembled, ready for operation). Innovations, the latest technologies, including those borrowed from F1 and experience in short-distance racing in real cars, where Traxxas performs with two pilots, are used in car models.
In 1999, in the world of radio-controlled cars there was a revolution that the release of perhaps the most famous model of the company - T-Maxx - was accomplished. Impenetrable long-stroke suspension and powerful internal combustion engine, coupled with an automatic 2-speed automatic transmission with a reversal switched on from the remote control (remotely, for this was used three-channel radio equipment) dispersed this model to more than 50 km / h.
To date, Traxxas is the world-famous manufacturer of complete sets of radio-controlled models. All of them carry the abbreviation PTR (RTR, Ready-To-Run). Traxxas has a lot of admirers, admirers, because very few people have done so much that ready-made kits were simultaneously simple, and therefore, claimed by newcomers, and satisfied with the demand of discerning experienced modelers.
